A small project designed to help out html newbies - use this page to generate your comic's HTML webpages - don't worry about how it looks for now, we'll work on that next.

General

Title is required




Show the date of the comic in the title bar
Replace title, subtitle and author text with image (upload banner.jpg to images folder)

Main links

These checkboxes create your main links. Be careful - you will have to write a small bit of html for every one you check. If a text box pops up you may point that link to an external page - just write the address in the box. If don't want it to, just leave it blank. Please do not check more than you can make - you will either have to make under constrution pages (annoying) or forget the files entirely, making people get 404 errors (frustrating).

Navigation

Choose where your comic navigation will appear - above, below, or on both sides of the comic.

Please choose at least one

News

Choose how to update your site's news section - by manually changing a section of indextemplate.html, or by updating news.html.

If you do not wish to have news on the main page, simply leave everything blank.

Within an iframe (update news.html)
Within Indextemplate (manually update indextemplate.html)

Secondary Links

Just the same as before, but these links will only appear on the main page and will not be given a prominent spot.

Copy and paste them into a text editor, then save them as the filename noted above the box. Be sure to make note of any POSSIBLE MANUAL EDITS - it's best to try and rectify them now than manually later.

Copy and paste this the same as the previous two, but follow the instructions it contains - you will be building the pages you chose when you checked those links

news.html

Since you chose to place your news in an iFrame, whenever you wish to update the news on the front page, you will change this file.

Once you have done all that is reccomended, click the link below to choose a layout for your website.
