General Information
First, we need to know the title of your comic, and your username.
The title is easy - that's just the name of your comic.
Since the address of your comic is username.comicgenesis.com, i need your username.
So, if to get to your site, you write cheeseburgers.comicgenesis.com, put in cheeseburgers.
These are required fields. You can not proceed without entering your title and username.
The next two fields are for the author's name, and a subtitle or tagline.
Both put small text under the title of the comic.
So, if you had a comic called "Cheeseburgers: Grill of Passion" then you could put "Grill of Passion" in the subtitle box.
If you don't have a subtitle, you can put a tagline, like "Sweet sweet love on a sesame seed bun".
You can also fill in the author box how you'd like to be credited at the top of the page.
Nothing but what you put in the box will be inserted, so if you want to say "by Sloppy Joe" or "Penned by Sloppy Joe" or "vomited forth by Sloppy Joe", you'll have to put in the entire line.
Grey boxes denote an optional field.
Optional fields add things to your page.
If you leave them alone, they will not do anything.
If you'd rather not just have the name of your comic at the top of the page, and would rather have a logo or banner of some sort, you can check the box below.
If you check this box, make a banner or logo called banner.jpg and be sure to upload it to workspace/images.
Do you see at the top of your window, where it says "HTML Generator" right now?
That's called the title bar.
On your site, it will say the title of your comic - "Cheeseburgers" for example.
Some people like to have the date of the comic up there too - "Cheeseburgers - Monday, October 28, 1929".
If you'd like that, check the box below.

Main links
These links go on every page, and can link to outside places like your Deviant Art profile, or your blog.
Simply check the ones you would like, then put the addreses you would like them to go to.
If you leave them blank, a link will be inserted, but the page the link points to will not be generated.
Unless you are absolutely certain you can handle writing the page, fill out the box or do not check it to begin with.
If you're ok with writing your own HTML, you can make more links by clicking the warning.

Here, you must choose where to put the navigation buttons. You can have them only above, only below, or both above and below the comic by checking either or both boxes.
Choose at least one option.

Lots of comics have newsposts that either go with the comic, or are on the front page.
If you would like the posts to go along with your comic, choose the "todays_notes" option.
If you would just like to have your blog on the most recent page of the comic, type the address in the form below.

Copy the Code
This part is slightly more involved, so be sure to follow all the instructions.
If you are using Windows, start notepad by going to Start > Programs > Notepad.
If you are on a Mac, start TextEdit from the dock or Applications folder.
Next, select the text below and copy it into either Notepad or TextEdit.
For Notepad:
Once the text is in, go to "Save As..." in the "File" menu.
When the Save as box pops up, type "indextemplate.html" in as the file name, without the quotes.
Then, switch the "Save as Type" to "All Files".
You can leave the encoding at the default setting.
Finally, click save.
Do the same for dailytemplate.html and any other files you're promted to save, changing the filename accordingly.
Once you've finished saving all of the HTML files, head on over to the CSS centre and pick out a template for your site.
For TextEdit:
Once the text is in, switch to plain text mode by going to Format > Make Plain Text.
After that, choose File > Save As... and type "indextemplate.html" in as the file name, without the quotes.
After clicking save, you'll get a prompt asking if you're sure you want to use the .html extension.
Be sure to click use HTML.
My apolagies if this has been a little awkward, but i don't own a Mac.

Extra Pages
You've ignored the warnings, so i'm going to assume you can handle it from here.
Use the same technique as before to save this, but this time, you'll have to follow the instructions within, and save the file multiple times as the noted filenames.
You will use this file to create the extra pages for your website - archive, links, cast, ect.
Just follow the instructions, save, and open the file in your web browser to check the results.
